Production position available at Reverence Dance Apparel

Marker Maker position is available at Reverence Dance (www.reverencedance.com). Reverence Dance Apparel is located in Arlington and specialize in designing and manufacturing dancewear for dance studios and dance/drill teams all over the United States.
 

Marker Maker

This role will create markers utilizing fabric to achieve the best possible yield.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

·      Use PAD software to determine the best layout of pattern pieces in creating efficient markers in order to save time and materials to keep the cost of the garments down. 

·      Create markers based on cut ticket information in a timely and accurate manner to meet all deadlines. 

·      Experience with marker making is a plus, but isn’t required.  Training sessions will be provided.

·      Communicate often and clearly with cutting crew and other related departments in resolving questions regarding markers.

·      Calculate costing yields

Job Requirements:

·      Must have 2-3 years experience with patterns, fabrics (preferably knits), and garment construction.  Knowledge in dancewear is a plus but not required.

·      Highly motivated and very  detail-oriented

·      Strong organizational skills

·      Strong communication skills

·      Ability to adapt and work well in a fast-paced environment

·      Knowledge and experience with Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus

·      Must be computer proficient
