OUTFIT: Procreating Mohair Jumper

Favorite Knit ever! Mohair! only...... the jumper leaves a trail of pink fluff, really nothing is safe. My black coat? Has a soft layer of pink mohair, my black jeans? covered in pink plush, really it's everywhere! Maybe it's the H&M quality or its just the way Mohair jumpers in general decide to procreate.

OUTFIT: Lace, Leather, Cuffs and Gloves

Some subtle creativeness styling-wise today, I layered jewelry (cuffs) on top of the gloves (I am a layering maniac after all so not even gloves are safe) and another subtle modifying is in the Zara skirt, the skirt is a long (floor) length skirt with slits on the sides (yes, I have the same skirt in white too!) So I simply folded/draped up the skirt and tucked it in for a wrapped mini effect.

OUTFIT: Leather Mini

Wearing a blouse and a (fake) leather mini today, it's still way to cold to go bare legged and I decided to wear the light gray/silver Betsey Johnson tights again because I like the color combination, it's just a bit different then the usual black tights. But the biggest update in the outfit is probably me wearing pumps instead of boots! 

And although the outfit looks exiting(?) my day isn't haha.. I'm doing my bookkeeping and taxes today :S I'm this close of having a panic attack whaaaaa...

Can you believe the leather bow dress is from h&m? I couldn't!!

It's an item from the (old) 2008 divided exclusive line.

It's funny how some season's h&m is really good while sometimes you can really speak of a bad year. In 2008 the problem with this dress was the empire waist which looked kind of out of balance with the current trends! So I just stocked the dress for a future season to come. 

When shopping I often think about what the item will do in a few years. A certain timelessness makes clothing so much more interesting to me.

the Netherlands - part one

Back "home" in the Netherlands, in Arnhem to be precise,
Most of these buildings date back to the 15th century, this is in the center of the town, funny enough growing up I didn't really spent much attention to them, it was natural, now after 4.5 years New York I'm actually pretty much in love with the Archetecture!! Most of these pearls were destroyed during 2nd world war and the fight over the bridges... This last building is called "the devils house", 15th century too decorated with devils, werewolfs etc..

The Bakery, more than 100 years old is a favorite, this bread is called "grofje"I'm not sure but it might even be that its a city thing and hard to find in other city's... not sure though,
I was running errand for my trip to Sicily in a few hours haha, packing again!!

After I come back I will show you more Netherlands and where I grew up :)

The leather pants again, I love leather with everything right now, I'm so surfing Ebay to expand the leather galore I have in my closet, still looking for; long black leather gloves, black leather mini skirt, leather shorts, slim fit leather pants, fringe jacket, everything leather actually..

I'm eyeing tie dye too, I really want some tie dyed leggings, in light/washed out rainbow-ish colors, would go so nice with the black leather!
