Western Handbag and wallet designer

Position: Handbag and wallet designer (Western)

Job description: Needs to be proficient in Illustrator, job will entail creating spec sheets, and overseeing the product development while communicating with China.  

Trenditions is looking for an eager Fashion designer to assist in Handbag and wallet designs for the Western industry. We are a wholesaler located in Hurst TX that does business with all the major Western chain stores such as Cavender's, Shepler's, Boot Barn, and Baskin's we also have over 1200 small accounts. We are a licensee of Wrangler and Wrangler Rock 47 handbags as well as our private label Way West and Western Trenditions. We need a knowledgeable designer that can work with main stream fashion and western fashion. Experience requested but not a must if you show potential.

You must have a four year design degree or have experience in design. Must be very open to or know the western industry. Willing to learn, as we are looking for great designs to blend the western and main stream fashion as well as keep some core western designs.  Must have portfolio ready for interview. With examples of handbags. As well as be proficient in Illustrator.
